| Bio: | This journal is intended to be a journal for my writing or commentary on pop-culture (reviewing/discussing tv shows I watch). I am a pretty big geek. My undergraduate degree is in Cultural Anthro (Archaeology focus) and my masters is in Medieval Studies. Contrary to expectations, am now working in the field and actually using my degree(and not say, as a folder of towels at a hotel. It is possible to live off a Liberal Arts degree...within reason.) I love most British television shows (Dr. Who, Life on Mars, Big Train, That Mitchell and Webb Look, Coupling, Extras, and the list goes on). I am currently in love with the Dr. Who series (especially with the relationship between the Doctor and Rose. They're my new Mulder & Scully). Am also a huge fan of Arrested Development (the show) and BSG (the new version is brilliant). And also love anything by Joss Whedon... I'm a big fan of reading... Favorite books include: "Twilight," "The Last Unicorn," anything by Patricia McKillip, the Welsh Princes trilogy by Sharon Kay Penman, "Illusion," "Persuasion," "Pride and Prejudice," and many more (too hard to list just two or three). Love Pre-Raphaelite art (esp. John William Waterhouse). | |||||
